About Cooperative Research Australia
Cooperative Research Australia (CRA) is the national body operating to enhance Australia’s industrial, commercial, and economic growth through collaborative research and innovation. Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs) and Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-Ps) are key bodies for translation of Australian research. CRA is led by CEO, Jane O’Dwyer and Chair, Belinda Robinson. CRA’s Board of Directors includes CEOs of CRCs or similar entities, a representative of Research Partner members, as well as skills-based Board members drawn from within the collaborative research community.
Our role
The primary function of CRA is to support members by providing access to knowledge, networks, advice, best practice, profile, and advocacy. We promote cooperative research between academia and industry – advocating on behalf of our members, acting as a linkage between stakeholders and ensuring cooperative research contributes to future growth and prosperity.
