To assist prospective and new partners of a CRC, the CRC Association is releasing a series of printable Guides aimed at providing the “must know” information regarding what is involved in being a player in a CRC.
The information in these Guides is aimed particularly at industry, though are also tailored to reach other audiences, including new CRCs (and even old ones). They provide tips while also acting as a "ready reckoner" of the major issues that CRCs must consider and address as they are formed and progress.
While the Guides each will work in isolation from each other, the first Guide (“How to Build a CRC Consortium”) is the keystone document. All Guides will essentially be providing information that is not already readily available or accessible; much of which is captured within the experience of people who have previously participated in CRCs. They provide the kind of information that these people will ultimately read and say "I wish I'd known that when I started!"
GUIDE A – How to Build a CRC Consortium (1.31 MB pdf)
This Guide has been developed by the CRC Association to help interested parties understand how CRCs can be formed or joined, how an application/bid can be put together and funded and what is involved in being part of a CRC. This Guide is part of a series of Guides aimed at industry, including small and medium enterprises, and others who are new to the CRC Program.
