CRCs – Capturing creativity through people, ideas and enterprise

CRCs – Capturing creativity, released on 14th October 2002, provides a snapshot of the outstanding recent achievements of the CRC Programme. Examples from twenty-three CRCs are included. They show how CRCs have become leaders in turning scientific excellence into new products, new businesses, new expertise and new ways of doing things.

This booklet is based on the applications for the Awards for Excellence in Technology Transfer which were presented at the CRC Associations’ Annual Conference in May 2002 in Sydney. The booklet also includes eight stories about the work of student finalists who took part in the “Showcasing CRC Post-Graduate students” awards. The challenge given to the students was for them to show their ability to communicate effectively about a research achievement to a non-specialist audience.
