Showcasing Early Career Researchers

Each year at the CRC Association Annual Conference a number of  early career researchers are selected to attend and present their research to the conference. Presentations are judged by audience vote and prior to 2013 an award was granted in each of 2 categories – a 10-minute science presentation and a 3-minute thesis presentation.

In 2013 the competition has changed – the prize money available is $10,000, all presentations will be 5 minutes long and initial entries will be submitted in a 30-second video. Applications have now closed.

The objective of the Early Career Researcher Showcase is to assist in developing academic and research communication skills. The session has proved to be one of the highlights of the Annual Conference in recent years.
